ZenTangle Riesling

Colour: Green straw.

Bouquet: Lemon and grapefruit are at the fore with hints of lime blossom and jasmine.

Palate: A fresh and zesty palate with loads of citrus flavour and a grapefruit and gin like finish.

Vintage Conditions: The growing season was very favourable starting with solid late winter and spring rains that set the vines up for a high quality year. The summer was warm to mild with cool nights that led to the development of pristine aromatics and flavours. The wines of the 2021 vintage are that of balance, style and exceptional varietal characteristics.

Winemaking: The grapes were harvested in the cool of the night to retain the lovely aromatics that Riesling is famous for. The grapes were then crushed to a skin contact vessel, remaining for 45 minutes on skins to maximise flavour. The free run juice is then drained from the skins and combined with some light pressings in tank for wild fermentation.

Vineyards: The grapes are sourced from the Riverland, Eden & Barossa Valley regions of South Australia.
